ADVIT stands for Association for Development, Voluntary Service and Information for Youth. We are a non-political, non-political, non-governmental organization, started by and for young people, to involve young people from all countries as well as Moldovan youth, with and without professional experience.

As the recognized charity working in the area of youth development; ADVIT Moldova sends and receives young people, who want to broaden their horizons, develop themselves, make a difference as well as live and work with communities in Moldova.

Through volunteering with ADVIT Moldova, participants gain valuable work experience, learn a new language and develop important vocational, interpersonal and cultural skills, while in return offering their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the benefit of the projects that host them.

Our main goals are:
• To inform youth about opportunities in education, culture and social activities
• To promote dialogue between young people from all over the world
• To create favourable conditions for intercultural youth cooperation
• To promote the spirit of volunteering
• To provide information about youth education and exchange opportunities
• To create and coordinate youth exchange programmes
• To promote a healthy lifestyle among young people
• To develop youth mobility and encourage participation
• To raise awareness about Moldovan culture and heritage
ADVIT Moldova started as a youth initiative in 2002 by organizing weekend workcamps and involving disadvantaged youth and international volunteers. In 2004 ADVIT Moldova was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and was acknowledged as a non-profit organization in January of 2007.
